Excelso Export Coffee

Composed by a large bean, mainly flat, even, retained above screen net Nº 14, with 1.5% tolerance below, but retained by screen net Nº 12, carefuly produced and properly selected. This coffee must have at least a 50% retained above screen net Nº 15, according to the Green Coffee Association of New York City, Inc. set of guidelines and regulations.

Supreme Quality Excelso Coffee - Screen Net Nº 18

Composed by a large bean, mainly flat, even, retained above screen net Nº 18, with 5% tolerance below, but retained by screen net Nº 14, carefuly produced and properly selected.

Supreme Quality Excelso Coffee - Screen Net Nº 17

Composed by a large bean, mainly flat, even, retained above screen net Nº 17, with 5% tolerance below, but retained by screen net Nº 14, carefuly produced and properly selected.

Gourmet Coffee– Microlots

Coffee with a sensory analysis and brew quality SCAA grading above 84 points, 12% maximum moisture, in bags of 70 or 35 net kgms, packed in  Grain Pro and fique wrap (fnatural fiber) #10 – or also packed in 20 kgms. vacuum cardboard box. Microlots depending on the amount of volumes to be offered by our suppliers according the quality of the harvests.

Echeverri Barsa S.A.S. has the availability to offer microlots from Quindío, Risaralda, Valle del Cauca, Tolima, Nariño, Huila, César, Magdalena; among other coffee producing departaments in Colombia.

Consumption

Echeverri Barsa trades consuption for the Colombian roasting industry, specially under the following guidelines: Profitable bean 60%, black bean 3%, imperfect bean 40% tops, fragments 2%, foreign objects 1%, beans affected by the berry borer 30% tops, density 620, moisture 12% tops or according to specifications given bythe customer.

Lower Grade Coffee

Echeverri Barsa trades ower grade coffee for the Colombian roasting industry, specially under the following guidelines: Moisture 12%, Density 590, foreign objects 0.6%, Impurities 1.2%, fragments 5%, Profitable bean 52%, sored bean 9%, dry black bean 3%, partial black bean 12%, imperfect bean 28%,  beans affected by the berry borer 10%, floating bean 4%, and clean cup, or according to specifications given bythe customer.

Colombian Coffee

Colombian Coffee is defined as one of a clean cup, with medium/high acidity and body, and a full and pronounced aroma.

There are 4 registered coffee designations in Colombia, according to its production origins.

The Coffee Growing Area

It is much more than just Quindío, Caldas and Risaralda, it´s formed by 20 Departments listed as Coffee Growers.
